An Inside Look: Longview Estate Kitchen

August 6, 2015

First of all, you may notice things look different around here. We’ve got a whole new look! We worked with a FABULOUS Web-Design company, Bellaworks, for several months to create this updated website. Stay tuned for a blog detailing the process and new features on the website. Please provide any feedback in the comments section below. 🙂

It’s time for another Inside Look into the Longview Estate. Did you get a chance to see the other two rooms: Master Bedroom Suite and Home Office?

Welcome to the Longview Kitchen!

Our clients love to cook but love to cook together with a glass of wine (which we love). So, we wanted to make sure this was a functional kitchen that was fun and stylish to cook in.

We started with this beautiful blue/slate colored statement island. It truly is the centerpiece of the kitchen, which is perfect because the large size makes it easier for prepping and cooking. On the side of the island, we made sure to display their favorite cookbooks to make for quick reaches. AND we couldn’t forget the ever-so-important wine fridge. The counter-height stools are great for their little girl to perch on when watching Mom and Dad in the kitchen and also for entertaining with ease.

Additionally, we kept the backsplash simple and elegant with this sleek white subway tile. It makes for quick clean ups and creates a seamless look with the cabinets. The upper cabinet display cases are great for showcasing their most beautiful kitchen serveware and accessories.

Something every cook needs? A pot filler above the stove! Our client told us how much more convenient it is now, instead of lugging a heavy pot full of water back from the sink.

The accessories from Lauren Nicole Home are rustic and the perfect touch to give the space more personality. We finished off the room with pendant lighting to keep the space open and fresh.

Do tell: What’s your kitchen must-have?
